For specific information about getting appointments, home visits and other matters related to seeing your doctor, please read the information below.
Making Appointments at the Surgery
The Practice operates a full appointment system to see our Doctors and Nurses. Patients requiring an appointment should ring the main surgery number (0121 556 4615).
Urgent Cases are seen on the day.
If your condition is non urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP. If you don not need an appointment within two working days, you also have the option to book up to 4 weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you.
Tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss any matters. Remember that the results of tests can only be given by a clinical team member and only to the patient.
If you need advice please telephone the surgery . A note will be made of your call and one of the nurses or doctors will ring you back, normally at the end of their surgeries.
Additional Appointment Access
We are now offering appointments on a Sunday through the hub; this would require travelling to a different surgery.
We are still offering the appointments at the Village Medical Centre on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings
We are also offering late afternoon appointments through the hub; this means you can be seen between the hours of 6:30pm till 8pm at various different gp practices.
If you have any queries or want to book one of these appointments please speak to a member of the reception team.
